Great pics!

Looks like fun. Then again, I'm a sucker for boardwalks.

Pendullum,

Oh, yeah. It's a fantastic place.

Velvet,

So am I. I am absolutely a beach person, and looooove wide boardwalks and the honky-tonk atmosphere they breed.

Great shots! I have never been to NYC, and can see the personality of it through your photos. When I was a young teenager, my dream was to go to NYC and I could just feel that once I did, I would never want to return back home. Coney Island...I can almost smell the wafting aromas on the Boardwalk...my kids would love it!

Thirtysome,

Thank you for the wonderful compliments. It's a pretty scenic place, and the boardwalk aromas are as good as you imagine, salt air, hot dogs, coconut suntan oil and sometimes, horses.

I appreciate your taking the time to visit.

When you see Coney Island, it isn't hard to imagine it in its hey day!

Reflective,

You're exactly right. It hasn't changed at all since I was a child, or probably since my parents, long gone, were children.

I also love the timelessness of it, which goes perfectly with the timelessness of the ocean it borders.

Enchantment is alive and well there.
